  • Scheduled Water Interruption

    Earlier today, the City of Celina received the following information in a memorandum from our water services provider, Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD). Due to the damage of a transmission pipeline that serves municipalities in their portfolio, the pipeline will have to be shut off for repairs next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (July 19 - 21).   • Retention Pond Improvements

    An improvement project has begun on the retention ponds in Creeks of Legacy West. This effort is to reduce the erosion occurring around them as well as clean out the culvert between the two. During the construction period, US Site Services will continue to irrigate the area as normal, unless the system needs to be turned off for some reason. Also, they will not be able to mow down to the water’s edge until the project is complete. All landscaping activities in the area will return to normal as soon as possible.
